The basic info about this case is:

Patient Age: 80

Patient Gender: Female

Setting: Nursing Home

Basic problem description (short history, co-morbid conditions, treatments, therapies and products tried):Patient has mild dementia and has been in the facility for several months. Patient claims she is thirsty every night and requires fluids at bedtime. We've tried to restrict her from drinking but she insists. Consequently, she can't wait long before having to go to the bathroom and gets up too often in the night. If we try to make her wait, she wets the bed.

Optional request for specific assistance: How do I make her wait longer. What can I give her to take away the thirst without increasing her nighttime trips to the bathroom.
